Job summary

Culina in the North East of England is seeking a diligent Warehouse Operative to load and unload goods, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. You will maintain accurate inbound and dispatch documentation and support efficient stock movements.

You will report faults, keep vehicles and equipment safe, and work to meet productivity targets while upholding health and safety standards, HACCP where applicable, and company SSOWs.

Qualifications

• Ability to work within a chilled/cold environment.
• Experience of working within an environment where achieving deadlines and quality of work are critical.
• Understanding of verbal and numerical reasoning.
• Conscientious and reliable nature.
• Positivate 'can do' attitude.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload products in line with Company policies and procedures.
• Complete inbound and dispatch documentation.
• Report trailer or MHE faults and place VOR vehicles in designated areas.
• Ensure goods are picked and assembled accurately per instructions.
• Secure dispatched loads prior to leaving loading bay.
• Meet productivity targets and maintain required standards.
• Follow Health & Safety policy, SSOWs and HACCP regulations, and challenge non-compliance.
• Receive, record and notify returns to the Stock Controller.

• To ensure you load/unload product strictly in line with the Company's policies and procedures.
• To ensure the correct documentation is completed for all inbound and dispatch loads.
• Reporting any trailer or MHE faults in line with Company procedures and ensuring VOR vehicles are placed in the designated areas.
• To remain vigilant in ensuring goods are picked and assembled accurately as per instructions.
• To ensure dispatched loads are properly secured prior to leaving the loading bay.
• To reach and maintain the standards required to meet the Company's productivity targets.
• Ensure all practices and procedures are safely carried out in line with the Company’s Health & Safety policy, SSOWs and HACCP regulations, where appropriate, and to challenge colleagues who fail to adhere to any such rules or regulations.
• Ensure customer returns are received, recorded and notified to the appropriate Stock Controller
