Job summary

Culina is seeking a warehouse operative to support loading/unloading operations in a chilled environment. The role focuses on accurate documentation, fault reporting, and securing loads before dispatch, with strict adherence to safety policies and productivity targets.

You will ensure returns are logged and communicated to the Stock Controller, requiring a reliable, can-do attitude and careful attention to detail to maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to work within a chilled/cold environment.
• Experience of working within an environment where achieving deadlines and quality of work are critical.
• Understanding of verbal and numerical reasoning.
• Conscientious and reliable nature.
• Positivate 'can do' attitude.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload product in line with the Company's policies and procedures.
• Complete correct documentation for inbound and dispatch loads.
• Report trailer or MHE faults and ensure VOR vehicles are placed in designated areas.
• Remain vigilant to ensure goods are picked and assembled accurately as per instructions.
• Ensure dispatched loads are properly secured prior to leaving the loading bay.
• Maintain standards to meet productivity targets.
• Comply with Health & Safety policy, SSOWs and HACCP regulations, and challenge non-compliant colleagues.
• Receive, record and notify customer returns to the Stock Controller.

• To ensure you load/unload product strictly in line with the Company's policies and procedures.
• To ensure the correct documentation is completed for all inbound and dispatch loads.
• Reporting any trailer or MHE faults in line with Company procedures and ensuring VOR vehicles are placed in the designated areas.
• To remain vigilant in ensuring goods are picked and assembled accurately as per instructions.
• To ensure dispatched loads are properly secured prior to leaving the loading bay.
• To reach and maintain the standards required to meet the Company's productivity targets.
• Ensure all practices and procedures are safely carried out in line with the Company’s Health & Safety policy, SSOWs and HACCP regulations, where appropriate, and to challenge colleagues who fail to adhere to any such rules or regulations.
• Ensure customer returns are received, recorded and notified to the appropriate Stock Controller
