Culina Group Limited, the UK's leading independent specialist supply chain partner, is seeking a warehouse operative for its Chilled & Fresh division. The role involves loading/unloading in a chilled environment, ensuring accurate documentation for inbound and outbound loads, and maintaining safety and quality standards across daily operations.

Ideal candidates are reliable, deadline-focused, and able to work under pressure to meet productivity targets while adhering to HACCP and SSOWs.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload products in line with company policies.
• Complete inbound and dispatch documentation accurately.
• Report trailer or MHE faults per procedures.
• Ensure goods are picked and assembled correctly per instructions.
• Secure dispatched loads before leaving loading bay.
• Meet productivity targets and maintain standards.
• Follow Health & Safety SSPs and HACCP regulations.
• Notify Stock Controller of customer returns.

We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Chilled & Fresh division – from supplier to shelf, we make fresh supply chains simpler. Our expertise in temperature-controlled logistics ensures products are delivered safely, efficiently and on time, helping customers maximise availability and minimise waste.

Job Description

• To ensure you load/unload product strictly in line with the Company's policies and procedures.
• To ensure the correct documentation is completed for all inbound and dispatch loads.
• Reporting any trailer or MHE faults in line with Company procedures and ensuring VOR vehicles are placed in the designated areas.
• To remain vigilant in ensuring goods are picked and assembled accurately as per instructions.
• To ensure dispatched loads are properly secured prior to leaving the loading bay.
• To reach and maintain the standards required to meet the Company's productivity targets.
• Ensure all practices and procedures are safely carried out in line with the Company's Health & Safety policy, SSOWs and HACCP regulations, where appropriate, and to challenge colleagues who fail to adhere to any such rules or regulations.
• Ensure customer returns are received, recorded and notified to the appropriate Stock Controller.

Qualifications

• Ability to work within a chilled/cold environment
• Experience of working within an environment where achieving deadlines and quality of work are critical
• Understanding of verbal and numerical reasoning
• Conscientious and reliable nature
• Positivate 'can do' attitude
