Job summary

Boughey Distribution is seeking capable warehouse operatives for our Nantwich site on a 4 on 4 off night shift from 18:00 to 06:00. You will pick orders, pack for dispatch and handle goods safely, with paperwork completed as required.

We offer weekly pay at £15.72 per hour with enhanced overtime £23.58, generous holiday entitlement, funded training and a range of staff benefits including pension, Medicash, staff discounts and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience is beneficial but full training is provided.
• Comfortable on your feet; hands-on role involving lifting and carrying.
• Team-oriented with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of safe manual handling practices is important.

Responsibilities

• Picking orders from pick lists and locating stock as required.
• Packing orders for dispatch.
• Dispatching goods to customers and completing paperwork.
• Receiving, checking and storing products from suppliers safely.
• Report shortages and damages to the Team Leader immediately.
• Follow Health & Safety policies and look after own and others’ welfare.

Due to continued growth, we are growing our Warehousing teams across our Wardle, Nantwich site working a 4 on 4 off night shift pattern, 6pm to 6am.

Day to Day

• Picking orders from pick lists and locate stock as and when required.
• Packing orders ready for dispatch.
• Dispatching goods to our customers.Completing all paperwork and documents as required.
• Receiving, checking and storing products from suppliers in a safe and secure manner.
• Report all shortages and damages found to the Team Leader immediately.
• Be aware of and adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety Policy, taking responsibility for the Health and Safety and welfare of yourself and others.

What will you bring?

• Previous experience working within a warehouse environment is advantageous but full training is provided!
• Comfortable on your feet – this is a hands-on role that involves lifting and carrying.
• A team player with a positive attitude towards work.
• Strong communicationskills.
• Understanding and appreciation for safe manual handling practices and is Health & Safety aware.
