Boughey Distribution at the Lymedale site in Newcastle under Lyme is recruiting Reach Truck Operatives for night shifts (6pm–6am) on a 4 on 4 off pattern. You will pick, pack and dispatch orders, check stock, and handle paperwork, while maintaining safety and accuracy across all warehouse tasks.

Training and progression opportunities are available within the Boughey group. We offer weekly pay at £16.38 per hour, enhanced overtime, extensive employee benefits, and an equal opportunities framework

Formación

• Previous experience operating a Reach Truck.
• Comfortable on your feet as the role is hands-on with lifting.
• Health & safety awareness is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Pick orders from pick lists and locate stock.
• Pack orders for dispatch and process paperwork.
• Dispatch goods to customers and complete required documents.
• Receive, check and store products in a safe, secure manner.
• Report shortages or damages to the Team Leader promptly.
• Operate reach truck and other mobile plant as required.
• Follow Health & Safety policy at all times.

Due to continued growth, we are growing our teams across our Lymedale, Newcastle under Lyme site across a number of different teams working Nights on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 6pm to 6am.

Our Reach Truck Operatives work across a range of duties including but not limited to checking stock, goods and location controlling, picking and handballing.

Day to Day

• Picking orders from pick lists andlocatestock as and whenrequired.
• Packing orders ready for dispatch.
• Dispatching goods to our customers.
• Completing all paperwork and documents asrequired.
• Receiving,checkingand storing products from suppliers in asafe and secure manner.
• Report all shortages and damages found to the Team Leaderimmediately.
• Be aware of and adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety Policy, taking responsibility for the Health and Safety and welfare of yourself and others.
• OperateReach truck and other mobile plant whenrequired.

What will you bring?

• Previous experience operating a Reach Truck: refresher courses can be provided!
• Comfortable on your feet – this is ahands-onrole that involves lifting and carrying.
• A team player with a positive attitude towards work.
• Strong communicationskills.
• Understanding and appreciation for safe manual handling practices and is Health & Safety aware.
