Job summary

IFGlobal is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our fast-paced Operations team in Christchurch. The role involves picking, packing and dispatching orders accurately and on time using handheld tech and systems. You’ll work across warehouse areas, support stock management and help hit daily targets while maintaining high service standards.

About the role

As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll be part of our fast‑paced Operations team, helping to make sure our customers’ orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time.

This is a hands‑on role where you’ll work across different areas of the warehouse, using our systems and handheld technology to process orders, manage stock and keep everything moving. You’ll work closely with the wider team to hit daily targets, maintain high standards and deliver the level of service our customers expect.

What you'll do

• Accurately pick stock using the latest handheld scanning technology
• Process customer orders efficiently, ensuring all specific requirements are met
• Dispatch orders in line with agreed specifications and delivery standards
• Maintain high levels of stock accuracy through careful handling and recording
• Adhere to all company processes, procedures, and operational standards
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries when required
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and regulations, including the correct use of PPE and the safe operation of equipment and machinery
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure operational SLAs are consistently achieved
• Support the team to maintain smooth and efficient warehouse operations
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure deadlines are met
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organised working environment
• Carry out any other duties as reasonably assigned
