Job summary

IFGlobal is a technology-enabled 3PL and growth partner for ecommerce brands. An Inventory Operative (3 month fixed-term contract) will help maintain stock accuracy, manage stock movements, and perform audits across our Christchurch and Hurn sites.

You will audit with BLADE WMS, support goods-in and dispatch teams, and drive efficiency while working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. Travel between two sites is required.

Qualifications

• Warehouse and/or logistics experience (preferred)
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to high health & safety standards
• Self-motivation and the ability to think fast on your feet

Responsibilities

• Auditing stock using our BLADE WMS system
• Collaborating with goods-in to locate stock in opportunistic locations to improve downstream efficiency
• Collaborating with dispatch to remove bottlenecks and ensure orders ship within SLA
• Maintaining a clean, safe workspace and ensuring staff wear required PPE
• Ensuring work is carried out to high quality standards
• Other duties as assigned

About the role

As an Inventory Operative (3 month fixed term contract), you'll play a key role in keeping our stock accurate and our warehouse running smoothly. You'll manage stock movements, investigate discrepancies and carry out regular audits, while looking for ways to improve processes and drive greater efficiency across the operation. You will be required to travel across two sites based in Christchurch and Hurn.

What you'll do

• Auditing stock using our BLADE WMS system
• Working in parallel with the goods in team to ensure stock is located in the mostopportunistic locations to improve efficiencies downstream
• Working with the dispatch team remedying bottlenecks to ensure all orders are shippedwithin SLA
• To ensure clean and tidy working environment and that staff are using all required PPE
• Ensuring work is carried out to a high-quality standard.
• Any other duties as assigned
