Job summary

IFGlobal is hiring three Warehouse Operatives at our Hurn Warehouse in the UK to support stock picking, order processing, and dispatch while upholding health and safety standards.

You will use handheld scanners, process customer orders efficiently, maintain stock accuracy, and work with the team to meet SLAs and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proven accuracy in handling stock and customer orders.
• Experience using handheld scanning devices is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly with team members.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick stock using handheld scanners.
• Process customer orders efficiently and accurately.
• Dispatch orders in line with specifications and delivery standards.
• Maintain stock accuracy through careful handling and recording.
• Adhere to all company processes and safety standards.
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries when required.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and use PPE correctly.
• Work with colleagues to meet service level agreements.
• Support smooth warehouse operations and timely deadlines.
• Communicate with team and supervisors to meet deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised workspace.
• Carry out any other reasonably assigned duties.

Job description

• Due to growth, we are looking for 3 Warehouse Operatives across our Hurn Warehouse to contribute to the efficient operation by performing a variety of tasks including stock picking, order processing, dispatch, and maintaining stock accuracy, while adhering to health and safety standards.

What you'll do

• Accurately pick stock using the latest handheld scanning technology
• Process customer orders efficiently, ensuring all specific requirements are met
• Dispatch orders in line with agreed specifications and delivery standards
• Maintain high levels of stock accuracy through careful handling and recording
• Adhere to all company processes, procedures, and operational standards
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries when required
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and regulations, including the correct use of PPE and the safe operation of equipment and machinery
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure operational SLAs are consistently achieved
• Support the team to maintain smooth and efficient warehouse operations
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure deadlines are met
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised working environment
• Carry out any other duties as reasonably assigned
