Job summary

Howdens is looking for a hands‑on Warehouse Person in the UK. You will manage stock, ensure accurate picking and safe operation of forklift equipment, while maintaining high health and safety standards. This role offers a structured environment with opportunities to grow within a market-leading depot network.

You will be part of a busy, team‑oriented depot, with 40 hours per week, regular bonuses, and a strong emphasis on accuracy, reliability and customer service in daily warehouse tasks.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of stock handling and safety practices.
• Ability to work accurately with stock and records.
• Good reading, writing and numerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries and check stock in line with health and safety.
• Carry out daily forklift checks on trucks and equipment.
• Ensure stock is secure and prepared for dispatch.
• Conduct regular stock checks and keep accurate records.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized and efficient through stock rotation.
• Assist with deliveries, collections and general warehouse operations.
• Support depot team to keep operations running smoothly.
