Howdens Joinery seeks a Warehouse Person to help run a busy depot, ensuring stock is accurate, secure and ready for collection or delivery. You will unload deliveries, conduct forklift checks and support the trade customers with a professional service in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

The role emphasises accuracy, teamwork and taking pride in a tidy, efficient warehouse with a 40-hour week and strong team incentives.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence preferred but not essential.
• Good stock control and health & safety knowledge.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and record keeping.

Responsabilités

• Unload deliveries and check stock in line with safety standards.
• Carry out daily forklift checks and maintain equipment.
• Ensure stock is secure and prepared for dispatch.
• Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate records.
• Keep the warehouse tidy, organized and efficient through stock rotation.
• Support trade customers with professional service.
• Assist with deliveries, collections, and general warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with depot team to keep operations running smoothly.
