Job summary

Howdens Joinery Ltd, a leading UK kitchen supplier, is recruiting a Warehouse Person to help run a busy depot. You will unload deliveries, check stock and prepare items for collection or delivery while upholding high health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence is desirable.
• Good stock control and health and safety understanding.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong literacy, numeracy and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Unloading deliveries and checking stock accurately in line with health and safety standards.
• Carrying out daily checks on forklift trucks and equipment.
• Ensuring stock is secure and prepared for dispatch.
• Completing regular stock checks and maintaining accurate records.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and efficient through stock rotation.
• Supporting trade customers with a professional and helpful service.
• Assisting with deliveries, collections and general warehouse operations.
• Working closely with the depot team to keep operations running smoothly.
