Job summary

Fastenal in Nottingham is seeking a proactive Customer Services / Warehouse Operative to join a growing team. The role is full-time, with ongoing in-house training and clear progression paths into managerial or senior sales roles.

A full UK driving license is required as you'll be driving a company van. Core duties include handling calls, emails, stock purchasing, POS operations, and general warehouse duties, with excellent prospects for long-term career development in a well-established

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls and emails to identify customer needs and deliver satisfaction.

• Support warehouse tasks including picking, packing, receiving and shipping.

Salary/Rate

Annual salary of £27,000 (additional bonus option after successful probation period) and excellent in-house training and future prospects with over 95% of staff promoted from within.

Location: Nottingham

Mode: Full-time

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8-5pm. Friday 8am-2:30pm. No weekends

Key responsibilities will include:

Customer Services:

Handling incoming calls, answering emails, identifying and evaluating customers’ needs to deliver satisfaction, going the extra mile to engage customers, purchasing stock, general operations in the POS, communicating with colleagues, and providing customers with updates. IT skills would be advantageous.

Warehouse:

Picking, packing, receiving, cycle counts, managing shipping and processing goods in, general warehouse operations. Forklift licence would be a big plus but can be obtained on-the-job.
