Leader Online Ltd currently seeks Warehouse Operatives to join our Middlesbrough distribution team. You will support picking, replenishment, stock movement and dispatch for a varied range of products including doors, flooring and furniture.
The role is practical, fast-paced and requires accuracy, safety awareness and high standards of quality. This hands-on position offers potential progression beyond an initial three‑month term, subject to performance and business needs.
We are looking for reliable and motivated Warehouse Operatives to join our growing warehouse operation. Working with a varied product range including doors, flooring, furniture and associated products, you will support picking, replenishment, stock movement, consolidation and dispatch. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone with previous warehouse experience who can work at pace while maintaining high standards of accuracy, quality, Health & Safety and 5S. The role is initially for a period of three months, with the opportunity to progress into permanent employment, subject to performance, conduct, attendance and business requirements.
Previous experience or certification in Counterbalance, Reach, Bendi/Flexi, PPT/LLOP or other warehouse MHE is desirable. All equipment use is subject to Company competency assessment and authorisation.
We expect our Warehouse Operatives to deliver consistently across productivity, accuracy, quality, safety, 5S, reliability and attendance. Safety, quality and accuracy must never be compromised to achieve productivity targets.
We support employees who demonstrate strong performance, reliability and potential through cross‑training, additional MHE competencies and opportunities for progression. Both permanent and temp‑to‑perm opportunities are available, with temp‑to‑perm candidates having the opportunity to progress into permanent employment subject to performance, conduct, attendance and business requirements.
The role is primarily based within our Middlesbrough warehouse operation; however, the business also operates from locations in Hartlepool, and there may be occasional requirements to support across these sites. Employees must be able to reliably attend their assigned workplace for the required shift start and finish times. A driving licence and access to reliable transport are desirable, particularly for positions where flexibility between operational locations may be required. Any requirement for an employee to work regularly or occasionally across different Company locations will be subject to their agreed contractual working arrangements and any applicable Company mobility provisions.
