Job summary

Fastenal in Stafford is seeking a friendly, all-round Customer Support/Warehouse Operator. The role combines customer service with practical warehouse duties, offering strong progression into managerial or senior sales roles as the business grows.

You will handle calls and emails, purchase stock, and help with general operations. A full UK driving licence is required for driving a company van. Hours: Mon-Thu 8–5, Fri 8–2:30; weekends off. Salary £27,000 with probation bonus.

Responsibilities

Salary/Rate

Annual salary of £27,000 (additional bonus option after successful probation period) and excellent in-house training and future prospects with over 95% of staff promoted from within.

Location: Stafford

Mode: Full-time

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8-5pm. Friday 8am-2:30pm. No weekends

Key responsibilities will include:

Customer Services:

Handling incoming calls, answering emails, identifying and evaluating customers’ needs to deliver satisfaction, going the extra mile to engage customers, purchasing stock, general operations in the POS, communicating with colleagues, and providing customers with updates. IT skills would be advantageous.

Warehouse:

Picking, packing, receiving, cycle counts, managing shipping and processing goods in, general warehouse operations. Forklift licence would be a big plus but can be obtained on-the-job.
