Job summary

Culina Chilled & Fresh at Aylesford is hiring a Warehouse Operative to join our busy team. You will pick customer orders in our chilled warehouse (~3°C), operate a PPT ride-on pallet truck, and build pallets with accuracy and care.

The role is permanent, full-time, with a 4 days on/4 days off pattern and a competitive £30,970 p.a. salary, plus overtime at time and a half and a monthly Pick Bonus up to £1,200.

• Recent experience in a warehouse or similar fast-paced environment.
• Confidence to work towards clear targets and KPIs.
• PPT experience is desirable.
• Good numerical accuracy.

Job Description

£30,970 per annum (£14.18 per hour)

07:00–19:00 | 4 Days On, 4 Days Off, including weekends as the rota falls

Permanent | Full-Time

Overtime paid at time and a half

Performance bonus earning potential of up to £1,200 extra per month

You’ll receive a £30,970 annual salary (equivalent to £14.18 per hour based on 42 paid hours per week), with the opportunity to increase your earnings through overtime paid at time and a half and our performance-based Pick Bonus, with earning potential of up to an additional £1,200 per month for high performers.

The role is based within our chilled warehouse, operating at approximately 3°C, so you'll need to be comfortable working in a temperature-controlled environment.

What you'll be doing:

• You'll play a key role in keeping our customer orders moving safely, accurately and on time.

Your day will include:

• Building pallets safely and efficiently
• Checking that every order contains the correct products and quantities
• Moving palletised goods safely around the warehouse

Qualifications
