Culina is seeking a General Warehouse Operative for our chilled distribution centre in the UK. You will operate a Reach FLT, pick and move stock in a temperature controlled environment, and support accurate order processing. This full-time role features a 4 on/4 off days schedule and a site bonus scheme that can boost earnings.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar warehouse environment.
• D1 or D2 Reach FLT Licence essential (in-house licences considered).
• Comfortable working in a chilled warehouse.
• Able to meet tight deadlines and KPI targets.
• Strong verbal communication and numerical accuracy.
• Available to work on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift trucks safely in a palletised storage and distribution environment.
• Pick stock and orders from set locations within the chilled warehouse.
• Load and unload wagons or containers in line with site procedures.
• Scan pallets accurately into the correct locations and complete all tasks.
• Move, organise and handle goods carefully to maintain product quality and condition.
• Support the smooth flow of stock throughout the warehouse operation.
• Carry out equipment checks and report faults, damage or safety concerns promptly.
• Follow site safe systems of work, including PPE, walkways and designated areas.
• Work closely with Team Leaders, colleagues and shift teams to ensure clear handovers and operational priorities are met.

Full Time Permanent Role

We’re looking for experienced General Warehouse Operative to join our busy chilled distribution operation. You’ll play a key role in keeping stock moving safely and efficiently across a fully palletised warehouse environment.

This is a great opportunity for reliable, safety-conscious MHE / FLT Reach Drivers who are confident working in a fast-paced warehouse and take pride in accuracy, teamwork and high standards.

The role is based within our chilled warehouse, operating at approximately 3°C, so you'll need to be comfortable working in a temperature-controlled environment.

What you'll be doing:

You’ll play a key role in keeping our customer orders moving safely, accurately and on time.

Your day will include:

What we're looking for:

• Experience working in a similar warehouse environment is advantageous
• D1 or D2 Reach FLT Licence and experience is essential for this role (In-house licences from previous employers can be considered, provided you have relevant practical experience)
• Comfortable working in a chilled warehouse environment.
• Confident working to targets and KPI standards in a fast-paced operation.
• Strong verbal communication and numerical accuracy.
• The ability to meet tight deadlines and targets.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Can work on a 4 on 4 off shift Pattern
