Job summary

Culina is recruiting a Warehouse Operative in Haverhill to join our chilled and fresh division. You will play a hands-on role in picking stock, loading and unloading, and assembling orders in a 2–4°C environment across a 12‑hour day pattern (07:00–19:00), four on four off, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Pick stock and process orders in a fast-paced chilled warehouse.
• Load and unload stock and orders within the warehouse.
• Operate RF Gun to scan pallets and verify orders.
• Assemble customer orders from profiles and ensure correct quantities.
• Maintain high health & safety standards at all times.
• Keep warehouse and stock areas clean and well organised.

Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our Haverhill team, supporting our Warehouse Pick operation in a modern, fast-paced environment. This is a hands‑on role where you will play a key part in picking stock, keeping stock moving safely, accurately and efficiently while working as part of a supportive and dependable team.

This is a full‑time, permanent position working 12-hour day shifts on a 4 on, 4 off pattern, including weekends, from 07:00 to 19:00

The role is based in a chilled warehouse environment, so you will need to be comfortable working in temperatures between 2 and 4 degrees.

Salary: £29,511 per annum

On top of this we offer performance based Pick Bonuses with earning potential up to an extra £1200 per month for high performers

What you'll be doing:

• Confident working to clear targets and KPI’s and delivering strong performance
• Loading, unloading, and picking of stock and orders within the chilled warehouse
• Loading and unloading different type of trailers using RF Gun to scan pallets
• Assemble customer orders from the order profile.
• Ensure the correct amount of product is picked.
• Maintain high levels of Health & Safety at all times.
• Maintaining high levels of housekeeping throughout the warehouse

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

• Experience working in a similar warehouse environment is advantageous
• Comfortable working in a chilled warehouse environment.
• Confident working to targets and KPI standards in a fast-paced operation.
• Strong verbal communication and numerical accuracy.
• The ability to meet tight deadlines and targets.
• Strong organisational skills.

We operate a Banked hour contracts based on an average of a 40 hour week - £29,511 per annum.
