Job summary

Recruit4staff is representing an established logistics business in their search for a Warehouse Operative to work in Skelmersdale. The role involves picking palletised goods, counting against despatch notes and ensuring pallets are securely wrapped for despatch.

Hours include 8:00 am–4:30 pm on a 4 on 4 off schedule and Thursday–Sunday days, with overtime available. PPT training is provided and there may be a permanent position after the qualifying period.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is required.
• Ability to count accurately and check products against despatch documentation.
• Experience with pallet wrapping and despatch procedures is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Pick palletised goods and prepare them for despatch.
• Count and verify products against despatch notes.
• Inspect pallets for damage and securely wrap pallets for despatch.
• Operate PPTs after appropriate training.

Job Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you will pick palletised goods from the warehouse and prepare them for despatch. The role involves counting and quality-checking products against despatch notes, inspecting pallets for damage, and securely wrapping pallets ready for despatch. The

Warehouse Operative will also operate PPTs following appropriate training.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience in a
• Warehouse Operative or similar role
• Ability to accurately count and check products against despatch documentation

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• Previous FLT, PPT, VNA or pallet wrapper experience would be advantageous for this
