Job summary

Recruit4staff are representing a leading food manufacturing and packaging business seeking a Warehouse FLT Operative in Oswestry to support efficient movement, storage and despatch of goods within a busy facility.

You will operate a forklift, despatch orders, load and unload stock, and complete warehouse paperwork. The role offers 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights) with on-site facilities and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience in a similar Warehouse Operative or logistics role.
• Experience operating a forklift truck.
• Basic IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Despatch orders and move goods efficiently within a busy facility.
• Operate a forklift truck to load/unload stock.
• Complete accurate warehouse paperwork and work with automated palletising systems and AGV technology.

• Pay: £34,401 starting salary, rising to £38,631 once signed off as competent in the role

Job Role: As a

Warehouse FLT Operative, you will support the efficient movement, storage and despatch of goods within a busy food packaging facility. The

Warehouse FLT Operative will be responsible for operating a forklift truck to despatch orders, loading and unloading stock, completing accurate warehouse paperwork and working with automated palletising systems and Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) technology. This

Warehouse FLT Operative position offers the opportunity to develop technical skills within a modern, automated warehouse environment.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse experience in a similar Warehouse Operative or logistics role
• Previous experience operating a forklift truck
• Basic IT skills

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• Familiarity with automated palletising systems and AGV technology (training will be provided)
• Experience working as a Warehouse Operative within a manufacturing or food production environment
