Job summary

GXO Sittingbourne is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our equipment management network. The site supports the cardboard and plastic recycling process for Morrison, offering a fast-paced, diverse environment with development opportunities.

You will work on a full-time, permanent basis, on an ‘any 5 days out of 7’ shift pattern: Morning 06:00-14:00, Lates 14:00-22:00, Nights 22:00-06:00. The role pays £12.71 per hour with overtime after 48 hours and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Willingness to learn new tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive duties.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles with customer equipment and waste.
• Bale cardboard and plastic waste safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a hazard-free, clean and tidy work area.
• Undertake other duties as designated by the line manager.

Here at GXO Sittingbourne, we are recruiting for Warehouse Operative to join our fantastic team within our equipment management network. This warehouse supports the cardboard and plastic recycling process for one of the leading grocery supermarkets, Morrison. The site is a fast paced, diverse environment with plenty of development opportunities available.

You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on an ‘any 5 days out of 7’ pattern.

Morning - 06:00 - 14:00

Lates - 14:00 - 22:00

Nights - 22:00 - 06:00

What you will do on a typical day:

• Accurately and safely load and unload vehicles with all customer equipment and waste arriving at the site
• Safely and efficiently bale cardboard and plastic waste
• Ensure a hazard‑free zone by guaranteeing that all work areas are kept clean and tidy
• Undertake any other duties commensurate with the position as designated by the line manager
