Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc in Corby is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team at the Shared User site. You will help ensure accurate order picking, loading and unloading, and maintain safety on the warehouse floor.

This is a full-time, permanent role with rotating day shifts (06:00–14:00, 14:00–22:00) or a night shift (22:00–06:00). Competitive salaries (£27,985 on day shifts or £30,294 on night shift), holiday pay, a company pension and access to our Hapi App discounts are provided.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience and understanding of inventory processes.
• Experience of driving MHE is desirable.
• Team player with a “one team” mindset.
• Flexible and adaptable to varied tasks and locations.
• Positive, can-do attitude with motivation to meet and exceed targets.

Responsibilities

• Accurately picking of customer orders.
• Loading/unloading vehicles using counterbalance and electric pump truck.
• Working at heights to retrieve and store pallets.
• Highlighting any potential quality issues and reporting any accidents/incidents on a timely manner.
• Working to a high standard of accuracy and productivity in all tasks.
• Complying with agreed procedures to ensure a safe and legal working environment.

You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the warehouse, helping deliver high-quality service by completing customer orders to the highest standard.

This is a full-time, permanent role. You will be workingMonday to Fridayon one of the following shifts:

• Rotating Shifts: 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00
• Fixed Night Shift: 22:00-06:00

What you’ll do on a typical day:
