Job summary

Culina in the UK is seeking a Warehouse Operative for our Chilled & Fresh division at Sittingbourne. You will load/unload goods, complete inbound and outbound documentation, and help ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining quality.

You must work in a chilled environment, hit productivity targets, and follow health and safety, HACCP, and SSOW procedures. The role offers benefits including life insurance, Cycle to Work, and staff recognition.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload product in line with company policies and procedures.
• Complete correct documentation for inbound and dispatch loads.
• Report trailer or MHE faults and manage VOR vehicles per procedures.
• Ensure goods are picked/assembled accurately per instructions.
• Ensure dispatched loads are securely loaded before leaving loading bay.
• Work to meet productivity targets while maintaining standards.
• Adhere to Health & Safety policy, SSOWs and HACCP regulations.
• Notify Stock Controller of customer returns.

Job Description

• To ensure you load/unload product strictly in line with the Company's policies and procedures.
• To ensure the correct documentation is completed for all inbound and dispatch loads.
• Reporting any trailer or MHE faults in line with Company procedures and ensuring VOR vehicles are placed in the designated areas.
• To remain vigilant in ensuring goods are picked and assembled accurately as per instructions.
• To ensure dispatched loads are properly secured prior to leaving the loading bay.
• To reach and maintain the standards required to meet the Company's productivity targets.
• Ensure all practices and procedures are safely carried out in line with the Company’s Health & Safety policy, SSOWs and HACCP regulations, where appropriate, and to challenge colleagues who fail to adhere to any such rules or regulations.
• Ensure customer returns are received, recorded and notified to the appropriate Stock Controller
