Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a Stores Operative as part of the Fareham Introduction. The role involves receiving, processing, and organizing goods, picking orders, and maintaining stock integrity in a busy stores area.

The successful candidate will have warehousing experience, be comfortable with heights, and able to work with ERP systems. Forklift experience is desirable; enthusiasm and a quick-learning approach are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Previous Warehouse or Stores experience desired.
• Previous experience of working at height is required due to nature of this role.
• Previous Experience with ERP Systems.
• Experience with forklifts desirable.
• Enthusiastic and hardworking.
• Willing to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Process goods inwards accurately and in line with the delivery schedule on the MRP system.
• Label, pack and store stock safely and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Pick Work Orders and Sales Orders according to picking lists.
• Carry out stock movements, routine cleaning and housekeeping in stores area.
• Ensure crates and packing materials are ordered and available to meet deadlines.
• Respond to hatch enquiries with appropriate urgency and maintain KPI data.
