Job summary

Rising Talent Recruitment Ltd. invites an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to own day-to-day warehouse and logistics activities in the West Bromwich area.

You will drive safe, efficient operations, oversee picking, packing and dispatch, and ensure customer service remains OTIF. Reporting to the Head of Logistics, you’ll lead the warehouse team, develop supervisors and optimise processes, labour planning and budget management, while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing warehouse or distribution operations.
• Strong leadership skills with performance management.
• Sound understanding of Health & Safety and compliance.
• Experience in a quality-controlled environment.
• Knowledge of stock control and operational KPIs.
• Experience managing budgets, labour costs and efficiencies.
• Continuous improvement mindset with willingness to challenge processes.
• IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day warehouse, inventory, pick, pack and dispatch operations.
• Develop supervisors and warehouse teams, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Drive performance across productivity, order accuracy, OTIF and service delivery.
• Own Health & Safety, ensuring compliance, managing risk and promoting safe working practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, remove inefficiencies and reduce costs.
• Manage labour planning, resources, budgets and operational expenditure.
• Ensure strong inventory accuracy, stock control and product integrity.
• Support recruitment, training, performance management and succession planning.
• Build an engaged, motivated team where ideas and improvements are encouraged.
