Job summary

Loom Talent is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to take ownership of day-to-day performance within a busy logistics environment in the UK. You will lead warehouse teams, drive productivity and KPI-driven improvements, and partner with customers and internal teams to ensure service levels are consistently achieved.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a sizeable warehouse or logistics operation.
• Strong background in 3PL, contract logistics, or fulfilment.
• Experience managing operational managers and large warehouse teams.
• Understanding of warehouse KPIs, productivity and labour performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop operational managers and warehouse teams.
• Own daily warehouse performance, service levels and productivity.
• Set clear KPI expectations and hold teams accountable.
• Analyse performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Drive improvements in productivity, labour utilisation, processes and service.
• Ensure effective resource and labour planning across the operation.
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to meet service expectations.
• Support WMS implementation and optimization.
• Maintain health & safety, compliance and operational discipline.
• Develop future leaders and create a strong internal talent pipeline.
