Job summary

lr is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our UK facility, overseeing Goods In, Warehousing, Fulfilment, Transport, Shipping and Premises. You will drive efficient goods movement, maintain high standards of accuracy and presentation, and develop people and processes across the operation.

You will mentor the team, optimise stock-handling, and collaborate with Client Services to ensure on-time fulfilment, with a practical, hands-on approach in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of Goods In, Warehousing, Fulfilment, Transport, Shipping and Premises.
• Ensure efficient movement of goods through the business.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, organisation, efficiency and presentation.
• Manage workloads, staffing and resources.
• Collaborate with Client Services to meet fulfilment requirements.
• Continuously review processes to improve productivity, quality and efficiency.
• Support, mentor and develop operational team.
• Maintain warehouse presentation and tidy, client-ready areas.
• Support stock control and stock-handling improvements.
• Provide hands-on operational support during busy periods.
• Cover Transport and Shipping including Royal Mail, FedEx and same-day delivery.
• Support health, safety and premises standards.
• Resolve issues quickly and address root causes.
