Job summary

GSF Car Parts in the West Midlands is seeking a Warehouse Controller to lead a team of Warehouse Operatives and drive efficient stock management to meet sales budgets. You will ensure smooth warehouse operations and foster a positive environment where the team can excel.

You will oversee Goods In, Goods Out, Returns and Stock Control, plan weekly schedules and support holidays, while working closely with Drivers to deliver excellent service to customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a warehouse, ideally in a fast-paced environment such as FMCG.
• Proven ability to lead a team and drive performance.
• Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage the organisation and performance of Goods In, Goods Out, Returns and Stock Control.
• Pick and load van/carrier accurately for timely customer delivery.
• Verify stock quantities against the computer system.
• Develop effective solutions to challenges and obstacles.
• Support the branch manager with holidays/sickness cover, weekly planning and team development.
• Collaborate with Drivers to ensure optimal delivery service for customers.
