Job summary

GSF Car Parts in the United Kingdom is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a team of Warehouse Operatives and Delivery Drivers. You will oversee warehouse processes and systems to ensure goods are received and dispatched efficiently, and productivity targets are achieved.

You will be responsible for maintaining operations across Goods In, Goods Out, and Stock Control, coordinating deliveries, and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a warehouse or similar operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
• Ability to stay calm and make decisions under pressure.
• Customer and sales focus is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage the organisation and performance to ensure smooth running of Goods In, Goods Out, Returns and Stock Control.
• Pick and load van/carrier accurately for timely delivery.
• Check stock quantities against computer records.
• Use judgement to develop effective solutions to challenges.
• Ensure warehouse functions run smoothly and cover holidays/sickness.
• Assist General Manager with PARC report KPI's.
• Create a positive environment where employees can reach their potential.
