Job summary

GSF Car Parts Limited is seeking a Warehouse Controller to lead a team of Warehouse Operatives and ensure stock is managed to meet sales budgets. You will coordinate Goods In/Out, Returns, and Stock Control, while supporting the branch manager with planning and coverage.

Ideal candidates will have a track record in fast-paced warehouses (FMCG preferred) and strong leadership, planning, and communication skills to drive efficient operations and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Ability to motivate and lead a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure.
• Customer and sales focus.
• Experience using MAM is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage the organisation and performance to ensure smooth running of Goods In, Goods Out, Returns and Stock Control.
• Pick and load van/carrier accurately for timely customer delivery when required.
• Check stock quantities are correct against computer.
• Use personal judgment to develop effective solutions to challenges.
• Assist the branch manager with holidays/sickness cover, weekly plans, developing the warehouse team, and coordinating with drivers for best delivery service.
• Create a positive and supportive environment where employees can reach their potential.
