Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Derby is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager - Night Shift to lead a fast-paced operation on a 4 on, 4 off pattern (18:30–06:30). You will inspire and develop a team, driving safety, engagement and continuous improvement in a busy FMCG warehouse.

You will coordinate daily tasks, manage resources, monitor KPIs and SLAs, and support employee relations while upholding Health & Safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising teams in a warehouse/logistics environment.
• Proficient with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage and motivate across all levels.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced operation.
• Experience in an automated FMCG warehouse is advantageous.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Previous experience leading or supervising teams within a warehouse, logistics or supply chain environment is preferred
• Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, motivate and build effective working relationships at all levels.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and perform effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Experience working within an automated FMCG warehousing operation would be advantageous.
