Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is launching a flagship Life Sciences & Healthcare operation at Derby, introducing automation and a fresh team in a new facility. We seek a First Line Manager to help shape an operational start-up and set high standards from day one.

You will lead, coach and develop colleagues to achieve productivity, quality and service targets, using data to drive improvements while maintaining a strong health and safety culture.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in warehouse, logistics or operational environments.
• Experience with automated warehouse operations.
• Strong focus on health and safety, standards and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support colleagues to hit productivity, quality and service targets.

Pay Rate: £34,000 Grade: RCS N Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Monday - Friday Rotating 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00 Location: Derby, DE73 5BH Be part of something new and exciting. We're looking for a First Line Manager to play an important role in building a high-performing, innovative operation that sets the standard from day one.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Leading, coaching, and supporting colleagues to achieve productivity, quality, and service targets
• Monitoring operational performance and using data to identify opportunities for improvement
• Conducting team briefings, performance reviews, and one-to-one coaching sessions
• Promoting a strong health and safety culture through observations, audits, and safe ways of working
• Supporting automated warehouse processes and ensuring operational flow across your area
