Job summary

ABM Facility Services UK is recruiting a full-time Cleaning/Waste Operative in the Wynyard area. You will join a fast-paced team performing janitorial and waste removal tasks across welfare areas, production floors and external sites.

Training will be provided and DBS, drug/alcohol testing are part of the onboarding process. The role requires physical fitness, ability to work independently or in a team, and effective communication with colleagues and the client’s on-site team.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Willingness to participate in DBS check and drug/alcohol testing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out janitorial and waste removal duties in a warehouse environment.
• Ensure cleanliness of washrooms, break rooms, canteen, offices and production areas.
• Handle waste via approved waste streams and prepare for transport.
• Operate walk-behind and ride-on cleaning equipment and maintain tools.
