Job summary

ABM Facility Services UK is recruiting for Cleaning/Waste Operatives on a full-time permanent basis at a Wakefield area client. The role involves working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment providing janitorial and waste removal services as part of a team.

You will perform duties across welfare areas, production floors and offices, using cleaning equipment and ensuring safety standards are met. Full training will be provided and DBS checks plus random testing may be required.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Willingness to participate in basic DBS checks and random drug/alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Carry out high standard janitorial and waste removal duties in a warehouse environment.
• Provide cleaning services in welfare areas, production floors and offices.
• Handle waste via approved streams and prepare for transportation.
• Operate walk-behind and ride-on sweepers and scrubber-dryers, maintain equipment.
• Respond to spillages and client callouts; communicate effectively with team and supervisor.
