The Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Clerical Assistant to join the Robin Smith Ward. The role focuses on reception duties, clerical support, stores management, and general admin to keep the ward running smoothly.

You will greet patients and relatives, answer calls, liaise with nurses and doctors, support discharge processes, and arrange follow-up appointments and transport as needed. Good IT skills and a calm, team-focused approach are essential.

Formación

• Good IT skills are required and hospital experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and relatives warmly and provide information clearly.
• Direct patients and relatives to ward facilities.
• Answer telephone enquiries and relay messages politely.
• Liaise with nurses, doctors, GP's and other staff to communicate information accurately.
• Support the nursing staff with discharge of patients.
• Arrange follow-up appointments and transport when required.
• Organise maintenance/repairs of ward equipment and facilities.
