Cygnet is seeking a friendly Ward Clerk for Newham House to support ward administration in a 20-bed neuropsychiatric facility. You will help ensure smooth and safe management of care, handling records and communications in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The role is full-time (40 hours) with DBS checks for successful candidates, offering professional development and a supportive culture focused on patient care.

Qualifikationen

• Experienced in administration in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Knowledge of data entry, record-keeping and reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

Aufgaben

• Assist clinical staff in ward administration.
• Ensure accurate recording & circulation of information.
• File all patient case notes and conduct regular audits.
• Complete ward filing in line with policies.
• Answer telephone, cover reception and undertake administrative duties.
• Ensure timely submission of reports and up-to-date care plans.
• Liaise with medical secretaries for timely reports submission.
