Cygnet Group is seeking a friendly Ward Clerk for Newham House to support the smooth and safe management of care. This full-time role involves ward administration, data handling and efficient communication with clinical staff.

You will be based at a 20-bed neuropsychiatric facility for women with ABI, with opportunities for professional development within a supportive, therapeutic environment. Enhanced DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Organised, diligent and able to adhere to processes and procedures.
• Knowledgeable of mental health and patient confidentiality issues.
• Proficient in inputting, pulling and analysing data using Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

Responsabilités

• Assist clinical staff in ward administration
• Ensuring accurate recording & circulation of information
• File all patient case notes & conduct regular audits to ensure all paperwork is up to date
• Complete all ward filing in line with Cygnet policies
• Answer telephone, cover reception & undertake other administrative duties as required
• Ensure that reports are submitted on time & that care plans are accurate & up to date
• Liaise with medical secretaries to ensure timely submission of reports
