Job summary

One YMCA Group is seeking a dedicated Supported Housing Officer (Nights) to join our hostel-based team. You will be on site overnight, ensuring safety, security, and wellbeing of residents while delivering calm, professional support throughout your shift.

You will work with residents facing homelessness and complex needs, using CCTV and safety protocols, and coordinating with the Housing & Community team to maintain a safe, welcoming environment around the clock.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable client groups and individuals in need.
• Knowledge of building safety, security measures, and incident response.
• Familiarity with CCTV and database systems used in housing settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, efficient, and high-quality night reception and security.
• Act as the first point of contact for residents during night shifts.
• Maintain safety and security of the service and building, including incident management.
• Support residents 24/7 as part of the Housing & Community team.
