Job summary

Hightown Housing Association in Aylesbury is seeking a Female Waking Night Project Worker to support residents overnight, ensuring safety, wellbeing and dignity with a compassionate, person-centred approach.

You will build trusting relationships, promote independence, respond to incidents and maintain records, while administering medication and providing personal care when required. Full training is provided and a care qualification is supported.

• Care certificate held or willingness to undertake a care qualification.
• Experience is helpful but not essential; full training provided.

Position: Female Waking Night Project Worker

Location: Aylesbury

Salary: £24,480 per annum

Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week)

Join our supportive team at Trinity Court 4, a residential care home for six adults with learning disabilities, where we work with compassion, respect and inclusion to empower residents to live as independently as possible.

The Role

As a Waking Night Project Worker, you will:

• Support residents overnight, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and dignity
• Build positive, trusting relationships through a collaborative approach
• Promote independence while respecting individual needs and choices
• Respond to incidents, provide emotional support and maintain clear records
• Administer medication and complete light household tasks
• Provide personal care when required

Shift Pattern

7 x 10-hour waking night shifts over a two-week rolling rota, working 21:30 to 07:30.

About You

You are caring, reliable and a strong communicator, with a collaborative mindset and a genuine commitment to inclusive, person-centred support. Experience is helpful but not essential, as full training is provided.

Holds a care certificate or willingness to undertake a care qualification.
