Job summary

Priory in Conquest House, Farcet (Peterborough) is seeking a Waking Night Support Worker to provide high-quality, person-centred care for residents with a primary learning disability, including those on the autism spectrum. You will work the night shift to support independence, wellbeing and dignity.

Description

Conquest House is located in the village of Farcet, Peterborough. The home offers residential support for 15 males and females who have a primary learning disability diagnosis, who may also be on the autism spectrum. We are in a semi-rural location, set in large country grounds.

Our dedicated team are passionate about helping the people we care for to lead lives that are as independent as possible. We want to provide our residents with the highest quality support enabling them to build on their skills, live more independently, and reach their goals.

What you'll be doing

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Waking Night Support Worker to join our team. A full driving licence and the ability to drive are essential for this role. In this fulfilling position, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred support and care, empowering individuals to live with dignity, independence, and choice while promoting their wellbeing and quality of life.

Support workers are key workers, and provide direct support to our service users in support them to live there best lives. Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.

You will play a vital part in helping individuals achieve their personal goals, supporting them in daily living, and empowering them to realise their potential.
