Supporting people to live great lives
As a Support Worker at Affinity Trust, you will make a difference every day, supporting people to live their best lives, giving them confidence and choice.
We’re looking for a compassionate Support Worker to join our waking nights team in our small Registered Care Home in Broad Oak, Brede, East Sussex, where you’ll support adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
Because you’ll be working in people’s own home, building genuine connections matters. Some people may like to stay up late watching a film, listening to music with a hot chocolate, or enjoying a relaxing bath before bed. Others may be early risers who need support to get up and prepare for the day. You’ll provide calm, responsive support throughout the night and early morning, tailored to each person’s individual needs and routines.
Support may include personal care and wellbeing, safely administering medication, and helping people move around their home. Waking night shifts run from 10:00pm to 7:30am, and you’ll need to work flexibly, including some weekends. You’ll also need to attend training and daytime meetings when required.
*Pay rate of £13.10 is effective as of 26th October 2026. Current rate £13.00
