Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a Wake Night Support Worker for Kington House in Barry. You will monitor residents during the night, provide night-time care, respond to incidents, maintain a calm environment, assist with light domestic tasks, and record any changes in residents’ condition.

The role offers Enhanced DBS coverage, access to QCF qualifications, and a pension, with pay between £13.45 and £14.15 per hour for 35 hours per week, plus annual leave and opportunities for career development.

Package Description JOB ROLE: Wake Night Support Worker LOCATION: Barry CF62 6RA SALARY: £13.45 - £14.15 HOURS: 35 A WEEK About Kington House Kington House is a community-based residential home in Barry, We support male adults with mental health needs

  • including schizophrenia, personality disorders and alcohol or substance misuse
  • and have extensive experience of learning disabilities, dual diagnoses and acquired brain injuries, providing rehabilitation that focuses on greater independence.

As a Wake Night Support Worker, your responsibilities will include: Monitoring the individuals during the night to ensure their safety and well-being.

Providing support when needed, including assisting with night-time care routines.

Responding to emergencies or incidents that may arise during the night.

Maintaining a calm and secure environment, helping to create a peaceful atmosphere for the individuals.

Assisting with light domestic tasks as required, such as tidying and cleaning communal areas.

Recording incidents or changes in the individuals' condition and ensuring accurate documentation is kept.

Working independently throughout the night, maintaining vigilance and attention to detail.

This role requires a calm, reliable, and responsible individual who can work effectively overnight to provide high-quality care and support.
