Keys Group's Parc Lodge in Bridgend is seeking a Support Worker to assist adults with mental health needs in a residential setting. You will be involved in day-to-day support, encouraging independence, and helping with daily routines.
Full training is provided; DBS check paid; a full UK driving licence is required and you must be flexible to work days and nights. The role includes medication support, budgeting and personal care.
Package Description JOB ROLE: Support Worker LOCATION: Bridgend CF31 4DA SALARY: £13.45 - £14.15 PER HOUR HOURS: 35hrs a week REQUIREMENTS: Full UK Drivers Licence and flexible to work days and nights About Parc Lodge Parc Lodge is a specialist residential service in Bridgend, South Wales supporting up to 10 adults with a range of mental health needs.
The service also supports individuals with secondary diagnoses such as learning disabilities, autism and physical health needs, alongside those with forensic histories, with a clear focus on rehabilitation and progression towards more independent living.
As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including: Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
Assisting with personal care as required.
Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
