Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a Wake Night Support Worker for The Lighthouse in Burnham-on-Sea (TA8). This 35-hour, full-time role focuses on safeguarding and supporting adults with mental health needs through the night.

You will monitor residents, assist with night-time care, record changes, and respond to incidents while maintaining a calm and secure environment. DBS check is provided and induction is paid for.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring the individuals during the night to ensure their safety and well-being
• Providing support when needed, including assisting with night-time care routines
• Responding to emergencies or incidents that may arise during the night
• Maintaining a calm and secure environment, helping to create a peaceful atmosphere for the individuals
• Assisting with light domestic tasks such as tidying and cleaning communal areas
• Recording incidents or changes in the individuals' condition and ensuring accurate documentation
• Working independently throughout the night, maintaining vigilance and attention to detail

About The Lighthouse

At The Lighthouse we support nine people with Mental Health needs or whom may have a dual diagnosis. We work with people with varied abilities to reach their full potential. We enable people to develop their skills, strengths and resilience.

We help them to develop their own set of resources to self-manage and stay well. We provide people with the right support to assist them in developing coping techniques which can make a noticeable difference in their everyday lives. We understand that everyone is an individual and their needs may vary, but whatever the persons situation or however complex their needs are we will encourage, support and motivate them to achieve their optimum level of independence.

As a Wake Night Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring the individuals during the night to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Providing support when needed, including assisting with night-time care routines.

• Maintaining a calm and secure environment, helping to create a peaceful atmosphere for the individuals.
