Job summary

The Oxford Collection is seeking a Restaurant Manager for Gees Restaurant & Bar in North Oxford. This role manages a 45-hour week across a Monday-Sunday rota, with an OTE up to £42,000 per annum including service charge.

Part-time hours may also be considered, and full training will be provided where helpful. We offer meals on duty, restaurant discounts, pension, and opportunities to advance within our trio of luxury dining venues in central Oxford.

Gees is North Oxford’s neighbourhood restaurant. Set within a unique, Grade II listed Victorian Conservatory, Gees has been welcoming guests for over four decades, and in Summer 2026 underwent a bold transformation. Key requirements for the role:

• Passion for hospitality, excited by food, wine, and restaurant culture, with high-level attention to detail and a positive can-do attitude.
• The following attributes; the ability to inspire and motivate people, experience of dining in similar restaurants, a keen willingness to learn, a high level of written English, and strong IT literacy.
• Previous management experience is beneficial although not essential as full training will be provided.
• This Restaurant Manager role is comparable with a Duty Restaurant Manager position.

We offer a flexible shift pattern across a 45-hour week (Monday-Sunday rota with two days off). You will be offered an OTE up to £42,000.00 per annum, including non-contractual tronc (service charge).

Part-time hours may also be considered.
