Job summary

Harri is seeking a guest-focused hospitality professional for an on-site role at a four-star family hotel near Fistral Beach. You will ensure warm welcomes and exceptional service, manage guest needs, and collaborate with the F&B team to support sales and guest satisfaction.

You will follow hotel policies, maintain accurate billing, and uphold health, safety, and cleanliness standards while contributing to events and promotions.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and ensure five-star hospitality throughout stay.
• Handle complaints professionally following policies.
• Follow hotel policies and training manuals.
• Work with Food & Beverage Manager to maximise sales and meet targets.
• Control stock and staff costs when managers are absent.
• Follow all hotel policies and training materials.
• Serve food and drinks quickly while maintaining standards.
• Promote current promotions and new products.
• Inform guests of offers on food and drink range.
• Assist in event setups as required.
• Maintain accurate billing and handle payments per policy.
• Observe cleaning rotas, health and safety, and hygiene rules.
• Ensure financial and reporting diligence per policy.
• Communicate across departments to share important information.
• Understand fire safety, COSHH, and emergency procedures.
• Assume other duties as required.

This role has a starting rate of £12.75 per hour... On successful completion of probation period you will receive an increase to £13.25 per hour and £50 in hotel vouchers.

Role & Responsibilities

• To ensure all of our guests receive a warm welcome and are treated to the up most hospitality and care during their stay with us – we aim to provide an unforgettable experience
• To ensure all complaints are minimised and handles professionally as in accordance with our policies
• To work in line with company policies and manuals
• Work with the Food and Beverage Manager & Supervisor to maximise sales performance and achieve sales in line with targets
• Ensure effective control of stock and staff costs in the Restaurant Managers& Supervisor absence.
• To follow all hotel policies as outlined in your training manual:
• Serve food and drinks, quickly and efficiently, meeting our five star standards.
• Keep up to date with current promotions and new products
• Make guests aware of offers on our great food and drink range
• To assist in any function or events set ups in accordance with procedures
• To maintain exemplary billing systems and obtain all payments from customers in accordance with company Policy, and the accurate accounting and processing of all reception sales.
• To observe and comply with cleaning rotas, health and safety, food and hygiene regulations
• Ensure high standards of financial and reporting diligence in accordance with company policy
• To ensure good working relationship with all other departments and communicate information throughout the hotel.
• To understand responsibilities in relation to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control and Emergency Aid.
