Job summary

Boringdon Hall in the United Kingdom is seeking a guest-focused hospitality professional to deliver exceptional five-star service in a historic manor with Michelin-starred dining and spa facilities. You will welcome guests, support the restaurant and hotel teams, and contribute to a seamless guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide five-star hospitality during their stay.
• Handle complaints professionally per company policies.
• Follow hotel policies and manuals.
• Collaborate with Food & Beverage Manager to maximise sales and hit targets.
• Control stock and staff costs in manager/supervisor absence.
• Follow training manual and procedures.
• Serve food and drinks quickly while upholding standards.
• Promote current offers and upsell where appropriate.
• Assist with events and function setups as required.
• Maintain accurate billing and payments; ensure health and safety compliance.
• Observe cleaning rotas and hygiene regulations.
• Ensure financial reporting and compliance with company policy.
• Communicate effectively with all departments; support fire, safety and emergency procedures.
• Perform any other duties as required.

This rolehas a starting rate of £12.75 per hour... On successful completion of probation period you will receive an increase to£13.25 per hour and £50 in hotel vouchers.

Role & Responsibilities:

• To ensure all of our guests receive a warm welcome and aretreated to the up most hospitality and care during their stay with us – we aimto provide an unforgettable experience
• To ensure all complaints are minimised and handlesprofessionally as in accordance with our policies
• To work in line with company policies and manuals
• Work with the Food and Beverage Manager & Supervisor tomaximise sales performance and achieve sales in line with targets
• Ensure effective control of stock and staff costs in theRestaurant Managers& Supervisor absence.
• To follow all hotel policies as outlined in your trainingmanual:
• Serve food and drinks, quickly and efficiently, meeting our fivestar standards.
• Keep up to date with current promotions and new products
• Make guests aware of offers on our great food and drinkrange
• To assist in any function or events set ups in accordancewith procedures
• To maintain exemplary billing systems and obtain all paymentsfrom customers in accordance with company Policy, and the accurate accountingand processing of all reception sales.
• To observe and comply with cleaning rotas, health and safety,food and hygiene regulations
• Ensure high standards of financial and reporting diligence inaccordance with company policy
• To ensuregood working relationship with all other departments and communicateinformation throughout the hotel.
• To understand responsibilities in relation to FireProcedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control and Emergency Aid.
