Job summary

DEBRA UK is seeking a Volunteer Lead Co-Ordinator at our Head Office in Bracknell to drive the volunteering strategy, recruitment, onboarding, engagement and retention across shops and locations. The role is part-time (21 hours per week) on a contract basis with office-based duties.

The successful candidate will work closely with Retail Area Managers to align volunteer activity with retail priorities, track metrics, and ensure safeguarding and data protection compliance, promoting an inclusive

• Lead and develop the volunteering coordination function across the organisation.
• Drive volunteer recruitment, onboarding, engagement and retention.
• Provide insights on volunteering metrics to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Retail Area Managers to align volunteering with retail priorities.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety and data protection.
