Job summary

DEBRA is seeking a friendly and motivated Store Assistant for our Bognor store. This part‑time role (6 hours weekly, Sunday) focuses on excellent customer service, stock handling, and maintaining high shop standards, while supporting volunteers in a welcoming environment.

Retail experience is desirable, but full training is provided. You will contribute to a positive, inclusive shopping experience and uphold our safeguarding and health & safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all customers and donors
• Support the processing, pricing, and replenishment of donated stock
• Help maintain high standards of shop presentation and cleanliness
• Assist with visual merchandising to promote sales and commercial success
• Support colleagues and volunteers in day‑to‑day store activities
• Follow DEBRA policies and procedures, including health, safety, and safeguarding
