Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting for a Car Sales Executive to join our Volkswagen Dealership in Worcester. This is a rare opportunity to join a settled, well-established team in a busy, high-volume site. The successful candidate will need to be highly motivated and great with our customers.

The hours of work are Monday to Saturday (8.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 5pm on Saturdays), with a day off in the week and working 10am to 4pm on Sundays on a rota basis.

Benefits include use of a company car and an OTE of £55,000.

As a Sales Executive with Listers, you’ll ensure that every customer feels valued by understanding how our vehicles fit into their lives. Your focus will be on matching the right car to the customer, with the appropriate features and add-ons, and providing excellent service throughout the financing and contract process to ensure total customer satisfaction.

Role And Responsibilities
  1. Build trust, communicate effectively, and exceed customer expectations through qualification and creating a positive first impression.
  2. Maximise opportunities through prospecting, follow-up calls, inbound enquiries, walk-in prospects, and internet inquiries.
  3. Achieve monthly KPIs for unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration, and add-on products to maximise profit.
  4. Adhere to FCA and data protection regulations by accurately collecting customer contact and vehicle data to enhance the customer database.
About You
  1. Previous experience as a car sales executive, retail manager, or sales manager is preferred.
  2. Proven ability to achieve and exceed targets.
  3. Ability to quickly establish rapport with customers.
  4. Potential to build a successful career in the industry.
  5. Hold a valid UK driver’s license.
  6. Motor trade, automotive, or dealership experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
