Job summary

VIVO Defence Services in High Wycombe is seeking a Voids Supervisor to lead a maintenance team across the Home Counties. You will supervise day-to-day operatives, manage supplier and subcontractor works, and ensure tasks meet KPI standards.

The role focuses on safety, site inspections and mentoring apprentices, while coordinating with administration to schedule works. A full driving licence and SC clearance are required; training in health & safety and sustainability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a team in housing or maintenance.
• Proven people management and strong communication skills.
• Full clean driving licence and ability to pass SC clearance.
• Health & safety or maintenance-specific training is desirable.
• Experience with sustainability practices in maintenance is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day supervision of operatives to ensure productivity and quality.
• Manage supplier and subcontractor works, staying on time and budget.
• Liaise with tenants and clients to resolve queries and ensure satisfaction.
• Inspect void properties, specify works, and present accurate orders.
• Mentor apprentices and collaborate with admin and call centres to schedule work.
• Promote sustainable practices and minimize waste.
